An introduction...

Algebra is absurd.  The way it is taught is absurd. I found it hard and my daughter was finding it hard so I decided to do something.  She said to me ‘Dad, maths is hard enough with numbers, why do they have to put letters and symbols in as well?’

My daughter and I tell stories to each other and we’ve got pretty good at it, so I thought why not turn an equation into a story. That’s where it started. With thanks to Carol Vorderman for the examples, all we’ve added is the characters and the stories.
